news chevron city to surf for activ returns in 2023
Chevron Australia, together with Activ, is excited to announce the return of the Chevron City to Surf for Activ in 2023.
Following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to re-ignite the much-loved community fun run, which aims to deliver an inclusive event for people of all abilities.
The Chevron City to Surf will be held in Karratha on Sunday 30 July 2023 and Perth on Sunday 27 August. Registrations will open in April 2023.
Chevron has been proudly partnering with Activ since 2010, and the Chevron City to Surf – celebrating 49 years in 2023 – is Activ’s annual fundraising event supporting people living with disability and their families in Western Australia.
People from across Chevron Australia enjoy getting involved, with teams from our sites in Onslow and Barrow Island, off Western Australia, in previous years holding their own Chevron City to Surf events over the same weekend so that everyone can participate and have fun.
Activ was established in 1951 to support people with disabilities in living independently. It is Western Australia’s largest registered NDIS provider and delivers services to over 1,800 individuals and their families in Western Australia.
Previously attracting over 1,000 volunteers each year, the Chevron City to Surf for Activ is the largest volunteer event in Western Australia, and Activ has raised more than $15 million over the past 10 years.
