feature chevron goes the distance for activ
We’ve been proudly partnering with Activ since 2010 on the Chevron City to Surf for Activ.
The event, which turns 45 this year, is one of Western Australia’s most loved community fun runs; and Activ’s largest annual fundraiser – providing valuable programs and services for thousands of people living with disability.
The Chevron City to Surf for Activ started with 500 participants in 1975 and is now an iconic event on the WA sporting calendar. More than 660,000 people have run, walked or rolled in the event since that time.

It’s grown from the hero event in Perth, to include a regional run in Karratha making it a more inclusive community-based fun run.
And, with more than 1,120 volunteers involved in making the event the success it is, it’s the largest volunteer event in WA.
