feature chevron goes the distance for activ
We’ve been proudly partnering with Activ since 2010 on the Chevron City to Surf for Activ.
The event, which turns 44 this year, is Western Australia’s oldest and most loved community fun run; and Activ’s largest annual fundraiser – providing valuable programs and services for thousands of people living with disability.
The Chevron City to Surf for Activ started with 500 participants in 1975 and is now an iconic event on the WA sporting calendar. A staggering 648,659 people have run, walked or rolled in the event since that time.

It’s grown from the hero event in Perth, to a regional series in 2013 adding Albany, Busselton, Geraldton and Karratha, making it the most community-based fun run in Australia.
And, with more than 1,120 volunteers involved in making the event the success it is, it’s the largest volunteer event in WA.
